Sophia Church Evangelism And Pre-Christmas Celebration In Hope

At 11:00am on Dec 17th, 2018, Sophia Church had a Pre-Christmas Service from Romans 5:12-21; Afterwards to have a Pot Luck Lunch fellowship and watch the movie “The Pilgrimage play”. The one who joined are guilded to meditate the historical meaning of the birth of Jesus Christ.

“Our justification is permanant (Romans5-11) and the foundamental proof and guarantee of this is God himself in whom we boast (v11) Our connection with Adam involved in death, judgement through sin. Our connection with Christ give us life and righteousness.

If we were to put the thought of this passage into one sentence,  it would be this: “By the sin of Adam all men became sinners and were alienated from God; by the righteousness of Jesus Christ all men became righteous and are restored to a right relationship with God.” Paul, in fact, said this very much more clearly in 1 Corinthians 15:21:’As by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.’ The birth of Jesus divided the history as AD & BC.” Preached the minister.

“Today’s message taught me about the theory of representative. As my justification is secured, when I know the theory of representative well, it will help me to walk the path of sanctification well by uniting with Jesus Christ well.” Reflected Nicolas Haman.

“I enjoyed the time to invite neighbors to come by giving out the flyer in the past two weeks. Today’s message reminded me about the obedience. As we break bread, it inspired me new thought. We are glad to see Ryan and Jenny today. In the future, every weekend, I will participate the evangelism activity and service. “Shared Jack, who is 65 years old and still working  in a company and lives 3 minutes from church, has great passion to evangelism.

“We have two headship Adam and Christ. We, human, either belong to Adam or Christ. As I know my root is changed from Adam to Christ, so the sin like branch will wither eventually. God will lead me to glorification. The birth of Jesus Christ is such a good news that I can’t wait to invite many to worship him together.” Stated Sharon missionary.

“We gave out about 500 flyer in the past three weeks with Jack and Nick particiting together. There are two people responded quickly. Steve, who can play the keyboard, said he will contact me on Monday since he had a flu lately and can’t come to church.  Jaeyon, who works in the laundry nearby church, wants to have Bible Study on Monday. We will continue to work on new flyer to invite people to have 24 Sunday attendants and worship team by the end of Jan.” Said Sharon missionary.

“so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 5:21)
